I want to have better night vision in my Z. After reading a few threads I have come to the conclusion that anything 6k or above is dimmer and harder on the eyes. I want a bright bulb, color is of no importance. Is there anyway to make these headlights brighter?

 

Have you tried adjusting them up?

Does anyone know what the stock settings for the HID's are?

 

I have no idea, the manual says:
Set the car 10,000mm from the screen.
Take the hight of the bulb (H) go to the screen and set between cutoff at -86mm to -113mm (below) H.

If I had to guess mine were pointed at the ground at 32 feet so who knows if they are even shipping within spec. They really could be over driven at 30 mph.
