Just the shape of the outside.. Apparently those are gaskets for the HR or VHR... The openings and the holes are the same so they should be fine... I hope

Yeah considering you can put oem hr manifolds on a DE im not going to worry about using the wrong gaskets too much.

Gonna blow up from all that power I just added... Probably jumped from 234 hp all the way up into the 235 hp range.

I have someone interested in buying my Volks or my Works. Planning to mount them tomorrow to see how I feel about them. Hopefully that guy follows through either way because Ive got him at a price thats hard to pass up.

After a quick glance of the wheel and my brake setup Ive determined theres no way to mount these works without at least an inch spacer. So that makes my decision easy.

Should have a deposit on the wheels sometime tomorrow

One inch spacers you would need some bushwacker fender flares...

Figured out I need to detach my steering to get the drivers side header in... What a *****.

Well it was worth the shot considering the deal you got on them!

And this is why I don't think I want to install headers anytime soon...

When we pulled the longtubes off the g35 we disconnected the steering shaft. Wasn't too hateful after that. Just make sure to mark anything you remove. And thats also the reason why Im waiting to pull my motor before I mess with my headers again.

Colton if you are interested in having headers installed I can talk with those 2 and see if they want to do it and price check. My guess would probably be in the $300 range

If you value your time thats a stellar deal for $300.. I think once you actually do it then it probably wouldn't be horrible but thats mostly because you know what your getting into...

On the steering shaft movement can I just loosen up my rusty *** joint and then pull up on the rod for removal?

I forgot if that has a slip joint or any play, I should have taken more notes with the G35...

$300 is more than reasonable. Won't be happening for a while though since my bank account is literally going to be in the single digits until my first paycheck comes in.

I wish I knew when my wheels were coming in. That's a $2300 balance hanging over my head. If they come in late June, I could comfortably do headers and other small stuff for the car before my tune. But the beginning of the 12-18 week range is literally right before my start date. Bleh.

Not sure what stronger tools would even fit into that area. I don't remember fighting that on my G
