Mike & Dave,
I thank you both for your caring and concern Most of my family left early, but I stayed with my father as my mom didn't have the capacity to take our dogs. We were extremely fortunate in that our house and family are all safe. I have a private line to the LSP command center and I was just told minutes ago that flooding will not be a problem at all since the secondary flood issue has been abated by natural and man-made means. I left the city last night after the violence concerned me too much. There are armed gangs wandering the streets, and I could not handle it. I fled in the jeep and my dad took off in our suburban. We locked down our house as best we could, but expect looting. I was held up several times and someone even tried to steal my car WHILE I was driving it! I have many photos but no time to post them now. I will post tomorrow. It was a totally unreal experience and very interesting to experience the kind of lawlessness which dictates you make your own decisions for survival.
Incidentally, My Z is safely stored in a secure parking facility downtown on the 9th floor. I will probably not see it for several weeks or months, but it is just as safe as the rest of the family
Thanks again,
Richard

Dave,
That is my Z along with three 996 Turbos I was doing a photoshoot of the day before the storm hit I have access to the secure parking in the building that company is hosted from and I parked all of those cars up there the day before the storm. At least they are safe!
I have coordinated a supply drop for the fellas operating that website since they have been so kind as to check on my cars and an office space I represent in that building.
Over a phone conversation earlier the guys in the office told me they jokingly refer to me as "the porsche guy" and said the military guys who delivered their diesel wanted to commandeer the cars! At least there is still some humor to be found in this terrible situation
Here are a few photos from the shoot I did the day before the storm...
