I've seen a few Louisiana members post here but not very many. Maybe the rest are hiding. I've met two other Z owners at the track Wednesday but I don't think they are members of this forum. I'll be heading to the track tonight, maybe I'll see a member or two over there tonight.

But anyways... where are all of the Z owners in Louisiana?

 

I haven't been to the track yet but that's on my list of things to do next spring. If I didn't have an AutoX event tomorrow morning at the crack of dawn, I might have considered coming out tonight.

Where are you and what track? I'd guess NPR.

I'm not aware of any of the local Z club guys that frequent the tracks. Sounds like a good idea for a club event though.

I did meet one guy that had a LS Track on some black Volks, looked REALLY nice. I'm not sure what his name was but I think he said he was on 350Zmotoring.

It would be awesome to meet some other owners around here even though my Z looks like its been through hell

I live in Louisiana and don't see too many Z's here either. I go to NPR every now and then, haven't been in a while though. I do plan to go on Ferrari Track Day on December 9th. I usually go to that every year. It would be nice to see some Z's there.

Not a bad idea because I know my girlfriend went to one a while and I was going to ask if she wanted to go this year. I'm sure she wouldn't mind going again, even a bigger plus because she loves Z's

I'm in the Baton Rouge area. See lots of Z's, men and women. I wave to everyone I see with one, about 3/4 will return the favor. The rest just look at me like I'm nuts.

So far I've seen about 2 Lemans Sunsets, 3 Daytona Blues, 1 Super Black, and more Silverstones, Pike's Peaks, and Liquid Aluminums than I can count. Only know of one other Ultra Yellow in this area besides my own, at the UPS on Rosenwald across from the BR Metro Airport. I pick up my parts there every day but I've never met the owner.

I don't really track my car, I just take it out to river road or maybe LA 22 and run the $#*^ out of it occaisionally. I work such long days and I'm on call for weekends that I really can't do anything else.

You guys need to come out to an AutoX sometime. There is an SCCA club here in BTR that has monthly events. In fact, tomorrow morning (Sunday, Nov 20) is the next one.

Just got back from Midnight Madness, left early.... Lots of people so the wait was long and the track wasn't sticky at all. The Z kept trying to fishtail shifting into 2nd. Met a couple of Z/G owners though.

I might be up for it. I've been talking with another guy in BTR (RobertH) about going to NPR. They've been going on Wednesday nights. I'm shooting for Wed the 7th but if that doesn't work out I might be able to make the 9th.

 

I talked to defex and he's up for it too. Probably will try to arrive there around 6.
