Can any of you guys tell me some of the nice and not so nice things about the area. I did see I can buy a nice house for a decent price so thats good.

I travel to OKC for my job.
Nice: The people. Very warm and good to deal with. The have a nice entertainment district called Bricktown. It's just off downtown and connects to their baseball stadium (AAA Texas Rangers).
Not so nice: The weather. It can be brutally hot in the summer and bitterly cold in the winter. They had some pretty major snow storms hit then this year. And they get their fair share of tornados.
I'm not sure about the local economy. They've taken some big hits in the last year with a General Motors plant and a major tire manufacturer closing.
Their Z Club can be found at www.okzcc.com and they have branches in Tulsa and OKC.

Im from Oklahoma City. If your looking for a nice place to live try looking in South OKC or North OKC. Dont go out to the East near Tinker AFB. Kinda ghetto out there. And if you go west....head out to the Mustang / Yukon area. The border to Moore and South OKC has a nice housing area. And to the North is Edmond. Really nice area to live. Your choice man.....stay out of the east side.
