You just missed a gathering today. Out of 17 cars there were about 6 Z's with BMW's, a Corvette, and Honda S2000. Last fall we had a similar gathering with 40+ cars and motorcycles. We took a run on the backroads through Lexington and all over. I'm not sure of the miles but it took about 3 hours to complete. We ended in Lee's Summit for a late lunch.
Keep an eye on www.hazcc.com or www.kczclub.com for the next run.
Also, check out www.bransonzfest.com which will be in May. There will be over 100 Z's from all over the U.S. including California and Michigan.
Feel free to PM me for more info.

Sounds good to me, and since I am new to this area I don't care about the location of the gathering. All I ask is that the roads are clean, the beer is cold, and the girls are pretty. (the beer is for after the drive) lol

The get-together I mentioned above is going to be done again! As I mentioned earlier, last fall when we did this we had 40+ vehicles and motorcycles.
The guy putting it together was disappointed with the turnout (about 18 cars) but the weather was cold and it was Easter Sunday after all.
Right now, the tentative "Do Over" is scheduled for Sunday April 29.
This event is officially known as the "Drive In The Country". Look for more info and updates on this at www.hazcc.com or www.kczclub.com in case I fail to post it on this site.

Just throw a date out there when everybody can do a meet. Its time for people with Z's in KC to come out of the hole and show your cars or race them on the track. So post a date on when everybody can attend a meet.

This is the reason why no one in KC can get a meet or get together start. No one likes to respond. No feedback.....no meet.

Please visit www.hazcc.com www.kczclub.com www.bransonzfest.com
There are events posted on these websites in the KC area. Not everyone reads my350z.com.

hmm....i really havent been to hazcc.com a whole lot. First time I went there it looked pretty dead to me. And kczclub.com is dead there too. and bransonzfest happens once a year.

If i remember right the "Z" zocial they have once a month falls on a weekday. Something I cant do. Well thats not the point im trying to say here.....

KC needs something a little more exciting. Im trying to get people to get out and do some KCIR drag meets on friday's or sunday's. whichever. Or just even a meet somewhere then eat and cruise afterwards.

I realize not everyone reads on my350z.com. O well nothing I can do about it.

This is the one reason that I dread moving to MO. Seems like there are no cars there. I don't wanna be alone out there.

You're in Warrensburg though right? That's like 45 mins or so away from KC right?

Default Just missed?

http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/sho...d.php?t=147661

WHERE:
Red Robin
18810 E US Highway 40
Independence, MO 64055
(Click for map)

WHEN:
Sunday, April 29th, 9-9:30am, departing around 10am.

WHAT:

A spirited drive in the country. Various twisty roads, several highway stretches, and automotive bliss.

WHO:
Hosted by Kansas City Z Club, many different makes/clubs invited--Z Cars (obviously), NSXs, Ferraris, Vipers, MR2s, BMWs, IS300s, S2000s, etc.

April 29thth marks the third Kansas City "Sunday Drive in the Country" hosted by the Kansas City Z Club. This cruise is actually an encore cruise of the one held on the 8th, so the route will be the same. Hopefully it will stay warmer than the last one! Last year, we had over 40 cars at the meet, ranging from Nissan Z Cars, NSXs, S2000s, BMWs, etc. Last event on the 8th, despite being freezing cold and Easter, we still had nearly 20 cars in attendance.

For those that don't know, this cruise is basically something coordinated by my father, brother, and I who are members of the local Kansas City Z Club, as mentioned above (My pops having an '06 350Z, my brother a '94 Twin Turbo Z and '91 hard top NA Z, and myself a '93 Twin Turbo). It will take approximately 3 hours to complete and will consist of lots of twisties for the corner carvers, a couple long highway stints for the high horsepower guys, and a likely photo op for all car enthusiasts who like photos of their cars.

It is recommended that you show up with a full tank of gas (There is a QT across the street from Red Robin if needed), and a navigator isn't required, but it's not a bad idea to have one if possible. Everyone will be given a copy of the route just in case you get separated from the car in front of you--or if the car in front of you is going the wrong way.
Anywho, we hope to see those who came out last year as well as some new faces this year.
