**OKC Z/G event: Indoor Go Kart racing (45MPH: 1/3 mile track) Oct 21 or 22:
We are looking at Monday Oct. 29th. More people can attend that week.
Alright guys, Roast threw out the idea of putting together a meet at Pole Position. A local Indoor Go Kart racing facility! I talked to Sam405 and a few others who said they would be interested. Here are the details.
-Electric Karts
-track is almost 1/4 mile long
-Karts go up to 45MPH
-helmets must be worn
-12 people on the track at one time
-races are 10-11 minutes long
-under 18 must print out release form signed by parents (found on website)
Here is the website
http://www.racep2r.com/OKC/index.htm...FSOmIgodZTcKvA
I called to get some ideas on group parties, specials, etc. I can't really book anything definitely until I know how many people are showing up. With group parties there is a 50% fee up front when booking, the rest paid when we show up. I need to get a list together of who is interested and wants to attend.
The package we go with depends on how many people we can get to go. I was thinking Monday, Oct. 22, for package 1. Or Sunday, Oct. 21st for Package 2 and 3.
Package 1 (rent out by the hour so just our group racing)
-20 people or less
-Monday night between 9-11 PM
-$515/hr (price per person will depend on group #)
***EXAMPLE:
***10 people $51.50
***15 people $34.36
***20 people $27.75
-12 people race at once
-10-11 minute track time, so however many races we can fit in our time rented
-last race will be the people with the fastest time
-no trophies
Package 2
-grand prix package
-$60/person
-practice race, qualifier race, grand prix race with fastest times
-no trophies
-any day and time
Package 3
-Super Pole package
-$90/person
-each person gets a practice, 2 qualifiers, and the final race w/ fastest times
-3 trophies
-any day and time
prices individually are $23/adult for one race to give you an idea of these packages.
Please contact me if you are interested in attending so I can book a time. Once I get a list together of the people who want to attend, I will let you know the exact pricing and package we go with. 50% up front will be needed to confirm your spot.
If we end up getting over 20 people I would suggest we go with Package 2 or 3. If under 20 people we will be going with package 1. That way everyone gets a good amount of track time for the money put in. Of course unless we get alot of out of towners interested, we can do packages 2 or 3 on sunday... Give me some feedback!

Maybe's
1. VicPham
2. 2006350zSA
I need to also know if you will be bringing someone so I know the exact number of people in the group. I would like to set the date but I can't really until I get an idea of who all is attending because we have to pay 50% up front and I'm not going to cash out that and not have people show..
Also, I was made aware of a car show on Sunday Oct. 21 at the bass pro shop downtown, Sam is getting more info on it. (ie. price, prizes, ) So if ya'll want to go to the car show and hold off on the go kart racing, or do the show on sunday and the go karts on monday night.. either way, just let me know.

I will definitely be bringing at least one person.... I'm also going to ask a friend of mine at work if he would like to come. They both drive s2000's...
How soon in advance do we have to make the booking? I can spot the people I'm bringing and just have them pay me back when we all get there.

I actually went to their car show last Sat. It was kinda boring because nobody was actually there. Maybe 30 cars. Only 6 imports. lol It was the OU game. So nobody actually showed. I won first place and got a plaque and a tshirt. I mean iono if the Bass Pro shop one is gonna be any bigger but, i think we should try it out.

Okay, so I want to try for Oct. 29th (monday) a week from now. So Let's see who wants to go for sure. Friday is the deadline. By then I will know for sure how many people are going and how much it will cost. I will need half payment up front so I can make the reservation. I'm thinking paypal?
