What's up everyone? There hasn't been much talk lately on here. How is everyone doing? Hows living in the light going for you with your day job Adam? Something you might like. The other day I was driving to work on the bypass in H.S. and I pulled up next to a new black vette. I figured I might try and have some fun, see how bad I would get whipped, and I looked over at it. My jaw dropped.... it was alike a 95 year old man driving a brand new ZR1. I crapped myself a little and shed a tear. The first one I've seen in person. It was sex. Nuff said.
So is anything going on anytime? Any meets or get togethers any time soon with the weather getting better?

^ LOL! I'm starting to get real sick of working nights. I feel like I never get anything accomplished during the day.
A ? for you guys. Does anyone have any problems with Rotas? They put out a "new" rim called the DPT that I like the look of. CE replicas but they look nice. Just getting some thoughts.

Contrary to what you read everywhere else, at least around here, you'd probably get made fun of for spending 3k on Volks, rather than buying Rotas.
I think they are a decent wheel for the money. The considerations for the DPT would be the same for any thin spoke wheel. I would have some reservations about auto-xing with R compound tires, as thats been a problem with wheels like lightweight thin spoke Enkei's. Other than that, I cant imagine you'd have any problems with them. They look great, just like the other wheels they resemble.. I really dont think anyone would mistake them for Volks.. or care.

What have been any problems with the thin spoke Enkeis and autox? I always thought and read that the Enkeis, RPF1/GT03 etc etc, were great rims for that. I'll try and search some around and see if I can find any problems with them. Also I think I would make fun of myself/kick myself in the butt for dropping 3k on Volks. I like them but not near that much. Lol.

I wouldn't worry about it.. just buy them if you want them. if you try hard enough, you can break any wheel.
