yea for them to throw her from underneath the truck the truck must was going pretty fast she must was at the 1/8 mile starting the race and it was a quarter mile run. Most people stand about 5ft from the front of the car in the middle or to the side.
Still a sorry story though.....

 

It's a shame when someone gets hurt street racing. But.........there has been a culture of street racing in St Louis for the past 40 years. I doubt there is anyway to get it stopped since there are just too many places for the racers to meet. And it will probably get worse since Gateway International Raceway just closed its doors. That was the only drag racing facility in the area.

exactly. It was a 17 year old girl so a high schooler....meaning the racers were probably high schoolers with no experience either.

I know exactly where this happened also. It's a popular place for people that actually know how to race. Some stupid kids like to ruin it for us by doing this **** though thinking they are all fast and furious.

 

 

And said one of the drivers was 18... so who knows about the other drivers..

I do have one question though. the TRUCK driver is being charged but the CAR driver hit her first....

How does that work if him hitting her was a result of her bouncing off the first car??

 

I think they were both involved in illegal activity so were accomplices. Both hit her and both will be charged (eventually).
