I apologize if I have this in the wrong section. But I am going to take my 2003 350z auto to Henson Performance in alabama to get the uprev Dyno tune. And I wanted to know if anyone else has had there car done by them, before I make this 4.5hr drive to get it done. I basically wanted to know if they are any good or etc etc etc. Thanks for the info in advance!

Why not just goto forged? they are very reputable with the 350z. I have yet to hear of anyone with a Henson tune other than v8's they install into the 350. Not saying they have not did it or cannot do it. But at least Forged is out there.

 

i do not reccommend them at all, they are very inexperenced with the VQ. i have a friend that got an NA osiris tune there and had tune issues and after getting a retune at Z1 the issues went away and he walked away with over 10rwhp more. You can PM me for more details.

 

Ya, i second that last message, hell we maybe speaking of the same person, my friend with a hks system was dragged over till the next day and still left with a bad tune and he ended going to z1 and was extremely happy. That guy was being nice not to blast them on this site, i think he should have so we all know. The funny thing is, if you were to speak to uprev, they seem to think the guy is great with tuning on their software, but all i heard was him complaining about the software's issues. I'm getting tuned @ z1, good luck to ya op !

 

interesting, but no not the same person. My friend is NA, and Uprev probably thinks they do great work because their dyno read so high, his car made 270 their and went to Z1 and made ~240. I also know of a high 500rwhp car that made 700rwhp on that dyno.

But i get tuned @Z1 when i was NA and now, Jon@Z1 takes ALOT of time and puts tons of effort in to each and every tune NA or FI (cant say that for other big names) and he will give you a great deal.

Can't go to forged cause they are farther then z1 I live 6+ hrs from both them and z1 . Henson is 4.5hs. So you guys think I should cancel my appointment and find someone else?
