Hey guys my wife and I are heading up there Oct 25th for the week in the SS Roadster. I know some of the roads in that area from riding morotcycle up there ie. Deals Gap, Foot Hills Parkway, BlueRidge Parkway CHEROHALA SKYWAY etc. ec. but I was wondering if maybe someone could give me some good ideas on some good back roads and places to eat, visit, and maybe some waterfalls that are more hiden while I'm up there. Also anyone with a good area please help me out.

Don't start with the Gator business...... I live in Knoxville- if you are in East Tennessee you need to drive the tail of the dragon,
across the mountain to Robbinsville, N.C.. Hope you have a M/T for this one.

How do you get a Florida grad off your porch- pay him for the pizza(he'll be driving the neon with the widebody kit.)

Damn, he said pay him for the pizza LOL....

On the other subject Deals Gap (AKA. Tail Of the Dragon) rocks but still does not even come close to the track. Not that I have ever been on the track with the car but I have done more track time on the motorcycle than I can count. If its 1/2 the fun that it is on the bike then I need to run a track day in the car. Please remeber the Gap in not a race track stay on your side of the road.

OOHH yea motorcycle track day this weekend at Nashville Motor Speedway. Come on out and watch Sunday 9-5

Awesome looking 240! My first car was a "76" 280 that I bought in 1980. What an awesome car! Did a lot of track days up in the NY area where I was living at the time. Unfortunately the weather got the best of my car and it rusted to a point where it wasn't safe to drive so I sold it as a parts car to some lucky guy for $500 in 1995. I just bought a 2004 Roadster which is about as much fun as I've had with my pants still on. It's night and day compared to the 280 but 30 years of technology improvements should be better. I can't get too much seat time in this thing.....I just love to drive it. My kids have me driving them anywhere they want to go.

Thanks- I've had it for 17 years. Always wanted one since they first came out. I wasn't even old enough to drive in 1971.

I still love it and the attention it gets, but... the new 350s are just an amazing car, especially for the price. I have had the opportunity to ride in or drive several, and they are outstanding. Maybe I'll pick one up in about 15 years!
