For 245 wide 18" I have:
- 8 hoosier A compound with 1 heat cycle. Good for up to 8 cycles ($300/set)
- 4 hoosier R with 1 cycle. ($400/set)
- 4 hoosier R with 3 cycles ($250/set)
- 4 hoosier rain with 4 cycles, hard, but way better than street tires ($100/set, or free with other tires)
- 4 stock z wheels, straight and decent cosmetically ($200/set)

For 285 wide 18" I have:
- 8 Hoosier A with 1 cycle! $450/set!!
- 4 hoosier A with 2 cycles, excellent rubber and grip left $300/set
- 4 BFG R1 with 3 cycles, tons of life left $200/set

Let me know your situation and I can recommend the best fit ad pressures and give you more details about the tires and/or wheels for you. Better yet, Come see them and pick your favorites!

Thanks,
Bill

Please note these are DOT tires but they are slicks so you can't drive them on the street....except the rains

Thanks,
Bill

I'm in Ft Lauderdale. You know, Since my wheels will just be sitting unused for a few months, I'd be willing to loan my "cheap" set (Kosei annd Enkei) if you leave me a deposit check for $150/whl. This would still mean you have to get them mounted and balanced, then removed after you use them, but you wouldn't have to buy dedicated wheels (until you get hooked)

I have 8-1/2 and 9" fronts, 9-1/2 and 10" rears. I can't remember the offsets but they definitely fit under a Z or a G without rubbing.

Roebling you might want the R compound. I cook my left rear there when I run As for more than 30 minutes of overdriving.

Default updated with freebies

It's time to try to get you folks out to the track. I have quite a few 285/30 and 245/35s/40s 18" that are still good for track days and drag racing unless you want to set track records. Most of them have enough runs I can't use them, but all of them should still have at least 2 hours of rubber left depending on your alignment. I will give them to local folks for free. FREE! Come pick through them. We can still work something out to use my old wheels too. I just hate throwing them away.

Cheers!
Bill
