the weather is supposed to be PERFECT on Saturday too so I hope you guys come on over to Raleigh......it's just barely an hour to get from G'boro to Raleigh. We should have a great turnout given the great weather, warmth, and now having sunshine until well past 8pm. If we had Z's and G's outnumber everything else in Raleigh that would simply RULE!!!!!

'tis sad that only we can only manage two commitments to an impromptu event like this for the entire state of NC. Sometimes I wish I lived in Cali just for the large Z meets.
Well, I'm signing off now and will not be back online tonight. Since there are only two people (me & Jrb300z) giving a full commitment, I'm waiving off. If I wanted to hang out by myself, I can do it without leaving Charlotte. Besides, I have another gathering I can go to here. It's not Z people, but its still car people. Have fun at the Raleigh meet.

we've got 2 of us coming to G'boro from Raleigh and possibly a third if you guys are still doing the NASCAR cafe. We'll have plenty of time for meets and eats in G'boro before we head back to Raleigh. Let's keep this thing on!!!!
In all fairness though, low attendance can pretty much be guaranteed when the time and place are only decided a day in advance.

I'd like to come out but it sounds like this one just became a dud. At least we know the Raleigh meet will be well attended so you're all welcome to come to that. We've had as many as 35 people show up when it was cold and crappy so the warm weather should bring the people out.

Duck, I feel your pain man! Putting together a meet and having 4 people show up when you see G's and Z's all day is frustrating.
On the other hand Craig and I were talking today about becoming an ARM off of the Triangle Z club. (Triangle G's or whatever) but at least the functions are regular!

great seeing the regulars and meeting the new guys in Raleigh tonight.......we definitely had Z's and G's outnumbering everything this time and we all lined the cars up and got some nice pics. I'll be posting mine sometime before the weekend is up.

sad i had to miss the excitement--i couldn't get anyone to cover for me. but I'm glad you guys got out there and had fun (those that went)! Maybe next time...did anyone get pictures?!!

yeah, we set up all the cars and took pics...I posted a link in the "Raleigh Meet" thread so others will probably pop up there too cuz there were lots of cameras. Hope to catch you next time!

1. Is not a weekend you are on call
2. Is not the first Saturday of the month (to avoid conflicts with the Ale House meets)
3. Is not ZDayZ weekend (May20-22)
... for us all to meet in Greensboro like we originally planned. I'm thinking sometime in June. I personally have a LOT of open weekends in June and could make it on nearly any given Saturday.
Is there a good park up your way? I'm thinking we could meet on a Saturday for a car gathering / cookout somewhere with a cruise either before or after the cookout.

We'll get something pulled together soon, Ant, I promise. I'm thinking about organizing a cookout. Trying to get with Jenn to make sure it is a weekend she can make it and drag some of her friends along. Right now my only restriction is trying not to overlap with Triangle Z Clubs cookout/picnic which, I believe, is June 25th.

Ant/Marty... for the record, I'm planning to attend the TZC picnic this year. Hope to bring some Carolina Z Club folks with me.
We (Ant/Jenn/me) have been trying for months to pull together a nice central (Greensboro area) meet. I think I've found a great location and it would be ideal cookout spot, too. But I don't want to overlap with TZC's picnic. Hoping we can work out an early June or post 4th of July one day event somewhere in the WS/Greensboro neck of the woods.
