Great Tint Shop in South FL
Hey guys,
I went over to Creative Carz over in Ft. Lauderdale and had a great experience. I pulled in a little late (my appt was at 9am but this spanish kid can't wake up that damn early :/) and Dexter got me in no problem. You pull your car into the showroom and drive it around towards the back where there is a nice and neatly organized work area. I've really never seen anything like it. You can longue on a nice black leather couch and watch some digital cable on a Flat Panel LCD but I spent most of my time looking at Dexter's SE-R SR20DET and chatting with him. I ended up getting the pricer Huper Optik Tint based on some recommendations from friends and Dexter's insistence that the ceramic tint will provide superior heat and UV protection while maintaining a safe legal tint.
So far the tint is awesome. I can still see out safely at night compared to my previous tint (15%) which made it genuinely scary to drive at night. I am getting some water bubbling and some minor bubbles towards the bottom of the passenger window. We had alot of difficulty applying the passenger side tint as we could not remove the door sensor (my previous installer is HORRIBLE and stripped the damn bolt). Lemme take the time to warn you all never to goto Auto Dimensions on Pines Blvd to get anything done. Apparantly something as simple as a tint job was a botch job, I have also had issues with my alarm (installed there) and they couldn't hang a damn exhaust without slicing off a hangar. I will be contacting the store owner tommorow to seek reimbursement.
Honestly, Creative Carz is one of the best shop experiences I have had in a long time and I would recommend anyone wanting to tint their Z to take it to someone who knows what they are doing: Creative Carz.

Thanks for the good review. I try to take care of all my customers, after all I have been doing this for 15 years now. I notice that alot of florida shops dont really cater to their customers after all I just moved down here to Florida a year ago from Brooklyn and we do things differently up there
. Also if you have any problems with the film bring if back and I'll take care of it besides you have to come back for me to look it over anyway.

I'm a new Z owner, 2005 350Z E, I want a nice tint job and I live in Jacksonville Florida, US Navy 23 years and still going. My family all live in Miami and FT Laud. I will be coming down for a visit the first weekend of August, can we book an appointment for a Saturday? I'm willing to wait to get it done correctly the first time, I'm concern about the window peeling since they raise up to seal after closing the door.
