Not trying to be picky about your post, but the Triangle, Triad and Carolina Z Clubs are all in the Piedmont part of the state. Also, for some reason not many people west of I-95 know about the Emerald City Z Club, even though we have a Z car show in June of each year and a swap meet in September of each year. We also have a great relationship with the Tidewater Z Club in southern Virginia and with the Triangle Z Club. Our members attend other Z Club events from Richmond VA to Charlotte. I guess the perception that there is no Z club in Eastern NC is consistent with how many people west of I-95 seem to think there is nothing in Eastern NC but the beaches.

We meet on the second Tuesday of every month at 7pm at Basils Restaurant off Firetower Road (in front of the Carmike Cinemas). We have approximatley 40 active members and cars ranging from 240s to 350s. There used to be a Z club in Wilmington (Cape Fear Z Club), but I understand that it is no longer active.

I appologize. I've only lived in NC since January....so my mental map is still a little skewed. I've heard about the Emerald City club....but I really didn't know where Emerald City was.
Again....sorry about that.
