Need a good shop
Hey Everyone,
I need some help. I recently moved to NC, fayetteville/Fort Bragg area and need to find a shop to do some major work to the Z. I also recently bought a fully built motor, Darton MID-sleeves, Stroked to 3.8L, the whole sha-bang, and need a good shop that knows what they are doing that can install a turbo, and get it all in the car, and running right, and safe. I am currently deployed, but as soon as i get back, or before i get back, the car is going in the shop to get done. If anyone can point me in the right direction, i would greatly appreciate it. I would like a shop that is the general area, but i'm open to any shop that you know does good work. Thanks for anything you can pass along,
Nick

Thanks for the info. I talked to Paul at Autotec, their on Cumberland rd, and he said he can do it, but they build mostly mustangs. He is rebuilding a g right now, and seems to be car intelligent, I'm just not 100% positive. I don't know how much experience they have with imports/tuners, and i want to make sure my project will be done right and dialed in correctly. I'm looking to push 25lbs of boost, so everything has to be done right. If no one else can come up with anything it will have to go to him. The only other shop i know of in NC is CIN Motorsports, but their in Charlotte. Thanks again for the info.

All I know if is CIN Motorsports like you. I haven't heard of anyone else in NC. Maybe Forged in ATL if you can go that far. Since you're going for such high boost, make sure you pick someone who has definitely done it before and has the experience to back up their work.
Either way looks like you're gonna have to travel.

Hi guys, new to this site and just got my Z last week. Hopefully this is still running as I'd like to get some insight on what I want to do to my Z
