My best 60' time was 2.055 I believe.

I know a guy here in Bham who is running 13.6 N/A with a 5AT and less mods than I had when I was N/A. Go figure.
If you are talking about DayBluZ, he has now run a 13.39 best, with Kinetix Plenum, HF cats, and JWT pop charger.

Yep. I'm talking about Larry. I forgot that he ran a 13.39! I remember hearing about that. I don't understand how 2 motors are this much different.

No! I hardly ever drive in auto mode, especially on the strip.

Ralph from CP Racing. BTW, don't think I'm really complaining about my car because I am not. I am just curious (still) as to why I am running such low times compared to others with similar setups. I wonder if the conditins in my area are what is causing me to run such different times than others.

Yep. He was at the last meet we had and ran a 13.4 that day. We even ran heads up, and I got lucky with a good launch and holeshot.

I was very surprised how well his car runs with just 3 mods!

Thanks for representing the the 5AT guys. they have just made the vortech CARB legal here in CA, so I'm probably going to go that route. I won the Z Car Garage bracket racing series here at Infineon this last season, but I want to go faster..

Matt, have you tried to put your stock plenum back on to try it and see if your car felt stronger??
I have the Kinetix and it works great for me

Altitude can cause some difference but I'm not sure a full sec. or so. How many miles do you have? Ever had the tranny fluid changed?

Yeah, I guess all those automotive professionals and writers throughout the world who always get faster times in manuals without exception are just proven wrong now by your fast run. Give me a break......if your car was manual you would have been even faster......this is not something that is even up for debate.

By the looks of what other 5at's are running, they seem to pull pretty good ET's.So I think the 5at is a good match for the 1/4 with FI,the trap speed just seems to suffer a little.Still amazed at how quick your charged 5at is CJ.

Eric
P.S. I don't think he has pulled the best out of it yet.Maybe I'll let him run on my drag radials next time.
