i still havent seen anybody run too quick with their z at the track. you guys keep going out there when im not around. I should be there more frequently this year. id like to line up against a 12 sec z.

 

im sure we will be there on the 11th or 13th, so come out there, i might be at both, i wish they would prep the f ing track a little better, but anyways...

track is good, just gotta learn the ropes. it really is the weather that affects the track prep, and of course idiots that drag water up to the line.

 

You haven't been around Speedworld much!!! It's not the weather, it's the lack of proper prep work unless there is a big event like World Street Nationals. You'd figure they would invest a little more in test and tune since it does pack them in on Wednesday and Friday nights. It's just padding someones pocket.

 

I have more passes at speedworld than anyone on this board combined. I pull 1.9s on street tires there and know plenty of guys that pull 1.8s during test and tune on street tires. As I said, humid nights and douchebags driving through the water is more than any prep can overcome

 

You must be old then(Just kidding)!! I know guys with thousands of passes out there and over 20 years. I would only say I have about 600 passes there between my hayabusa, twin turbo camaro, nitrous saleen, supercharged saleen, and naturally aspirated saleen. My first time out there was only in '89 though and had to hold down the fort when they only had test and tune one night a week but we did get about 6-9 passes a night back then.

you and i have about the same amount of passes then. I dont know how you have problems. That track hooks, i have been to T&T for the last few years solid, most of the Funday sunday's and points nights along with running night of fires. Of course like any trrack during t&t it sucks sometimes, but they cant overcome the bull****. WHAT i would wish they would do is block off the water boxes at least during street cars lining up, please at the very least...please god let it happen

 

i agree that i wish they would direct the street tires around the water cause i always have some idiot in front of me driving through the water right to the line....

or at least have the water box farther away from the line
