Default Drag race results

I have to work on launching this car. I managed a 1.9 60' on my 87 turbo, but NA power band is certainly different. I would get massive wheel hop and spin. I need to practice when the heat isn't on.Anyways, I mananged to trap 104.5MPH but only a 14.075. I am dissapointed, but I will do better; first time in the 350z.

Best:
60' 2.283
1/8 9.233
MPH 80.14
1/4 14.075
MPH 104.50

With VDC On, DOH!
60' 2.452
1/8 9.775
MPH 76.30
1/4 14.853
MPH 96.86

Nice trap, your Z pulled 24.5mph the 2nd 1/8 mile, most NA Z's only do 20-21mph. Your 60ft needs work you already know that, try to achieve a 2.0 which I think is a good goal for street tires. With a 2.0 you'd be a 13.7 easy...

Just the Borla True Dual. I don't even have a pop-charger yet! I will be ordering this week.

All times:
14.191 @ 101.95
14.263 @ 100.17
14.853 @ 96.86 (VDC run)
14.075 @ 104.50
14.230 @ 104.87
14.238 @ 103.59

Apparantly having the VDC on for one run helped my trap speed on the rest!

Haha I remember when I was trying to warm up the tires with VDC on accidently and man was I embarassed.

That's REALLY good traps for just that mod.

Default timeslip attached

I knew I should have had it ahead of time, I posted in the drag forum and there were some doubts. I promise I will work on my launch!

still again something fishy.... 24.5 in the last 1/8th naturally aspirated, i think that sounds like a 50 or 75 shot....

with just an exhaust.... hmmm

plus people dont trap 100 100 97 oh yeah 104.5 104

That's what I expected to hear, so maybe something was wrong with the track on those three runs. Plenty of people there to know I don't have nitrous.

Spinning a lot off the line would explain a little higher trap speed but 4.5mph is quite a bit.

Thanks - I know many people are so skeptical about anything, and I also understand that there are a lot of people out there that want to claim outrageous things. I really expected to run a high 13 at around 102mph and was a bit disappointed. I thought I was a good driver, but I have owned the 87 since 1997 and obvioulsy have a lot more practice in it. I'll get better.
