Default Driving a Z in South Carolina year round?

Hi all, I have found a 350z in my price range and would really like to get it. I will be moving to south carolina for a year (jan-dec 07) and it would be my only car. Is a Z a car I would be able to drive year around? I have lived in florida my entire life so I don't know how bad winter driving is in other areas.

Thanks
