Might want to check the weather reports before the long drive. Florida has been getting rained on every day and it isn't looking much better.

You get to meet some people with Z history and stories that have owned their Z's for 35 years like Bill Coffey and John Thomas (13 time SCCA Solo National Champion in his 240Z hopefully back from this years event) Carl Beck and his Baja prepped 240Z (also a Z encyclopedia) and if we are lucky Mr K will be able to make it, some here probably say Mr who?? I guess not everyone is as nutty as us and just got the Z for a car and not its rich heritage.
Z ya there I will be there all week.

My statement was a general one that maybe got triggered but I just laugh when I saw some comments on other forums of not going because they don't like the judging or now weather, just excuses for not going, I entered the people's choice just to be in the area, I couldn't care less about winning.
We will probably get rain but living in Florida you know it should not last for 5 days 24/7, you know how it is here it could be pouring on one side of the street and sunny on the other.
You should come out it is so close for you and nothing really to lose, and having prior Z's you should really have an incentive to go, unfortunately I have only been able to satisfy my Z desire the last few years as I was too young to own or drive 70's Z's then 80's & 90's had me in other priorities and then no Z's coming to the US and finally in the 21 century I was able to fulfill my wishes of having Z's

+1 ^^^ I am going to make every attempt to go to ZCON. Mike (ZGAD) said its definitely worth the drive and since I have never been, I am looking forward to it. I agree with you about the weather, its really strange sometimes.
Hope to see you there...
