Default Febuary 3rd practice drift event....

Febuary 3rd there is a practice drift event in greenville, Sc.

This is how it is going down for those who want to go -

On the 3rd, we will be LEAVING CIN Motorsports at 7:00AM which means get there are 6:45. If you aren't there at 7, you will get left because there is a drivers meeting at 9:00AM that must be attended if you plan to drift.

how to get to CIN -

From Concord Mills Mall take 85S for 11 miles then merge on 77S(Exit 38) toward Columbia, go 8 miles then take exit 6A (Woodlawn Rd). On Woodlawn stay in the right hand lane. Go thru the first stoplight, as soon as you get in front of the Bojangles make a right onto Chastain Ave. At the end of Chastain make a right onto Springbrook Rd. The shop will be on the left just below the vacant lot.

From Carowinds take 77N to Exit 6A (Woodlawn Rd.) Follow the rest of the directions listed above.

Can't wait to see some drifters. i will will not be drifting due to my car not being tuned, i will have my truck, i am brining derek along if anyone needs a ride i have room for 1-2 more. i also can carry any extra tires for the ones who are drifting.

c-ya guys at CIN. hopefully at the Feb 10th meet.

Relax Kevin haha I'm posting. I'm actually sitting at CIN right now with my tranny on a stand haha. The flywheel weight difference is 10 lbs. The cyn-r-g flywheel by RPS weighs about 18 lbs while the stock one measured in at 28lbs on CINS scale. Overall weight savings of 10 lbs on the entire clutch and flywheel assembly. The rps clutch weighs in at a little more than the stock one, but to be fair, it is a 6 puck heavy duty clutch. I'll be at the drift even for sure, but I'm gonna ride down there with either Kevin, Bobby, or Doug.

Change of plans, if you are planning to go, we are going to have to leave CIN at 630am. The drivers meeting is from 8:30 to 9am. So be at CIN at 6:15. I talked to Bobby today and he said we will have to leave people if they arent there. So this is fair warning that if you arent at CIN by 6:30 you will get left.

Dumb question...where is CIN located (and what does it mean)?

If I am going to Greeneville from Columbia, isnt going to Charlotte out of the way? Is there a central place we can meet?

Fitty...it would probably just be easier for you to meet us there. You will be taking 26 I assume? We'll be taking 85. The only real place we could meet is Spartanburg but even leaving at 6:30 is cutting it kind of close. Map quest says 1:45 from CIN Motorsports ( a local Z shop ). I really think it would be easier for you to just meet us at the event.

6:30 is early as **ck and know that my chances for actually getting up that early on a weekend are slim/none! I'll see you guys next weekend (10th).
