New Saturday Tampa, FL Hangout and Dyno Challenge
Well since we many of the cars have been banned from going back to Sonic on Sat nights, Team SSP and S&R Performance will get together to do a meet at the shop.
We want to have a place for everyone to hang out and have a good time.
Every Sat night from 6:30pm to 12:00am we will all be invited to hang out at the shop to get to know the employees there and to meet and greet new people.
We will serve food for a fee of course:
A hot dog and a drink for $2
A Hamburger and a drink for $3
We will also have a dyno challenge in which their will be a $100 cash prize for the winner. The one with the top horsepower will win the cash prize.
Price for the dyno challenge is going to be 2 pulls for $50. Winner will get $100 But there has to be a min. of 10 cars. With entering the dyno challenge you will also get a Burger or Hot dog and a drink.
If you have any questions please let me know. Now this is the 2nd time doing this so we hope to make it bigger each week and get more people involved. Last week the dyno challenge winner of the $100 was Justin with his Red Supra that put down 384hp with compensation level at 0%.
We are also working on a dj for entertainment. So please come out and hang out as well as participate in the dyno challenge if you are interested.

Yeah there is definately some people out there that can beat that 384 
I am sure the showing this week will be better b/c we only had three days of planning for last weekend since it was our first meet. But we were very satisfied with the showing of 11 cars on the dyno and over 60 people attending.

tuarran, you'd put down around 340-350hp is my guess. My buddy's evo ix put down 302hp running 24lbs. of boost with bolt-ons and tune. A 350Z with bolt-ons and no tune put down 206hp. Its and AWD dyno, I think its called a dyno-mite... 0% correction?
Anyway, $50 for two pulls is not a deal IMO! I had a full bottle of juice ready to go and still couldn't bring myself to pay $50 for two pulls to put down around 300hp when on an in-ground mustang dyno I pulled 364hp and 417lbs trq.

Hummmm, I'll have to check it out this weekend!!!!...I'll post back later this week but looks like a go for me...

Cool, glad to see some interest. Please come out even if u do not plan to dyno. Its mainly a meet but the dyno is just something fun to do if you are interested in doing that. I would like to meet some of you all as well. I do not have my car since its in the shop but it will be done soon ! I used to have the IS300 in the team but I am moving on to a new Z project !

I'm going to be in orlando this weekend, then my car will be under the knife for some work on my turbo setup and hopefully a tune. Maybe I'll head out there as soon as I get the thing back on the road.

Well we had a awesome turnout, thanks for everyone that showed up ! We had an estimate of about 150-160 people out there and there were 13 cars that were put on the dyno. The winner of the challenge for this week was an 03 mustang cobra with 410 horsepower.

Update for this week, we have bad news, DJ DFUNKMAMAGER will not be able to come on the 31st but we are working on a replacement. Just wanted to metion that so eveyone knows. But please come out and hang out we got a bunch last week and want a bunch this week as well !
