oh looks like we lucked out with the PIT tix. i looked and they are no longer available

Where's everybody staying? I was trying to find a place as close to the amphitheater as possible. I was hoping to not have to drive, or at least not too far. There seem to be a few places on the north side of the airport and a couple to the southeast, off I-75. I'm not looking for anything over 3-star or over $100/night, just a roof over our head until we are in a condition to drive home sunday. I can't seem to find anything right next to the amphitheater.

Believe it or not, I got these tickets for my wife. She's a huge Manson fan, but just "discovered" him a year or so ago. Last year, I promised her that if Manson ever came anywhere near us that I would take her. I didn't even know about the conert until I saw the tickets being watched in my ebay.

I was going to surprise her with the tickets, but when I bought them off ebay today (using my laptop), an alert popped up on my desktop that I won the item and she saw it. I was sitting on the toilet (so she wouldn't see me ordering the tix) and I hear, "Did you just order Marilyn Manson tickets?!?"

After I tried to lie about it, she told me about the alert, so I opened the door and let her click the Pay Now button on paypal. She was ****ing thrilled.

Anybody bringing their wife/gf along? Where are you sitting? If anybody is going to hang around Saturday before the show, lets try to meet somewhere for lunch or something.

My wife (Valkyrie) and I are going. We're staying at the Grand Hyatt Buckhead on saturday night. We'll probably be in ATL in the early afternoon on Saturday, got a few old college buddies I want to meet up with and get some dinner and drinks before the show with MC.

MC, you're still planning on riding to the concert with us?

Pretty awesome show. It seemed like there was something ailing Manson though - sickness or injury. He still played a good show though. Didn't catch much of Slayer - we didn't arrive until about 9 pm.

What did you think, MC?

^ yeah he didnt do beautiful people and after every song they wiped him down and have him oxygen. honestly i think it was just too hot for him or something. i was about 4 feet from him upfront. he didnt really talk to the audience either but still he did really good i was glad his live show was still heavy even though the new album went a different direction
