Default Ouch...

This is what your car will look like after it's introduced to a chunk of truck tire at 70 mph.

happened to me too. only it was a little more to the side and got the fender out of shape a bit too. worst part was it happened like 2 weeks after i got my nismo v1 bumper installed . i haven't bothered fixing it for the past 2 years because i'm certain that it'll happen again right after.

Nasty. But better it hit there and not your windshield. Talking about hitting tire debree. My brother had a Pontiac Trans Am back in the 90's and he ran over a retread tire that fell off a truck on I-75 and it hit the cable/shifter arm to the automatic transmission under the car and it threw his tranny into 1st or reverse (something bad) and destroyed the car. Your story reminded me of that.

That sucks!! So sorry that happened Steve. If you don't have a body shop in mind, the guy on our site is really good. He did my car and many others in the club. His username is bodyshop on the site. Good luck.

I hit a chunk of drywall a few days ago. An Explorer in front of me kicked it up and I saw id flipping through the air in slow motion, dissapear in front of the car. I thought sweet it landed, SMACK! DAMMIT!! There is a white scuff mark that I haven't buffed out yet on my bumper. Doesn't really compare to a tire though.
