We have decided to go on another mountain run!

MEETING: Perimeter Mall, Dylards Parking Lot(If you would like us to call you before an exit so you can meet us on the highway PM me or dkmesa350z your number and exit)

TIME:10am Oct 28th (Sunday)

GUIDELINES:
We should stop at the gas station at the Chevron just after turning off of 400 to fill up and regroup.





1. An experienced driver familiar with the roads should lead and bring up the rear
2. The lead car is not responsible for setting the pace of the drive. You are under no obligation to maintain that speed.
3. Drive within your limits and your car's limits
4. Do not draw negative attention - stay in control in the turns, maintain a reasonable speed on the long straights, be courtesy to slower traffic, and NO illegal passing. Keep in mind there will be scenic overlooks that are great for regrouping, taking pictures, and allowing slower traffic to get ahead.
5. Avoid running bicyclists off the road
6. Be conscious of sport bikes and other cars behind/ passing you in the two lanes sections

That was not the way we took last time was it? We were almost at the border of TN.

 

We were just miles from NC, TN is a good ways west. We continued past the 180 turn-off for food, so I think it is better to eat before the run for next time.

Can't count me in for sure this month, but I will probably make it. We could go the opposite way this time - left on 60, right on 180, and right on 19 back to 60 and take the loop again or left on 19 and right onto the Russell Scenic HWY loop again

 

I will see what I can do...

 

i will try to be at the meet again, last time was fun. i will be driving my civic hatch.

Yeah come on guys the first one was such a great turn out and it was alot of fun!! I will probably have my car done by then if not can I ride along Vizage?

Would you guys mind some TN Z's possibly joining in? There's a group of Z's from the Middle Tennessee club and the Smokey Mtn Z club from the Knoxville area meeting in Chattanooga and staying at the Choo Choo Saturday, 10/27. Not sure of the total going or if any would be interested in driving down to the mall or somewhere on your route to meet up. Probably a little far for some, but there might be some interest.

 

Yea, tell them about it. No they don't have to meet at the mall. Most of us meet there and drive up to meet another group, for most of us live closer to the mall. Your best bet would to talk to SupermanZ and meet him somewhere. He lives in the area near our runs. You wouldn't have to drive near as far or back track.

To tell you the truth I have no idea what Sharif is doing he said he would have the turbo uninstalled by weds. I swear sometimes i forget I have a 350z

Duma yeah its confy just tired of the suv I want my sports car back...From the sounds of it nooo but we will see here in the next couple of days.

Hey guys the "check engine soon" light just came on, best place to take it in ATL?

 

Auto zone or most any parts store can read the code. Check your gas cap sometimes that will set it off.
