McDuck was trying to get a meet together for June 28th. The Triangle Z Club's picnic and informal show has been planned for June 21st for 6 months or more. We were hoping that the Charlotte guys would come up to Harris Lake park this Saturday instead of June 28th; the park is very nice, it's on the Charlotte side of Raleigh, and it seems silly to do it two weekends in a row and it makes sense to combine the two. Anyone interested is welcome.

Umm... McDuck is not trying to get a meet together, McDuck has gotten a meet together for June 28th.

These are two separate events everyone. I would appreciate if the Triangle Z group would post a separate thread for the June 21st event so no one will be confused about where to be on which dates.

I'm sorry things did not work out for us to combine weekends, but I did ask when I post this thread on May 29th for someone from Raleigh to contact me about organizing on their I end. I had two responses and I wrote those people back, but they mentioned nothing about being in the Triangle Z Club or about event on 6-21 at Harris Lake. I finally got an email from Stacy (from Triangle Z Club) a few days ago... over 3 weeks after asking to be contacted. At that point, we already had our plans in place.

Also, might I suggest that Triangle Z do a better job of promoting their event. I frequent this and several other boards and watch for other event postings. For an event planned for 6 months, it seems poor communication to have the first post about it on my350z.com to be one appearing in my thread about a different event. Until it came up here, I did not see any posts about this Raleigh event on my350z.com, 350zmotoring.com, 350zfrenzy.com, strictlyz.com, zcar.com, or any of the other major Z sites I frequent.

I hope your event goes great, too, but the June 28th event will go on as planned.

Details about the June 28th 350Z Cookout at Jordan Lake will be posted to forums and emailed over the weekend.

A quick note for those that have emailed me recently about the cookout… I have been real busy with some home/car projects the past two days. I did see that I had about 6 more people that who are interested in the June 28th event. You have not been forgotten! I just haven’t had time to write everyone back yet, but I have added you to the mailing list. Information about the cookout should be delivered this weekend directly to your email and be posted on the various Z websites.
