Default Charlotte people

I have an opportunity to move to Charlotte or a couple other cities for my new job. So i'm just debating on which would be best. My other choices are Dayton, OH or Knoxville, TN.
So how do you guys like Charlotte? Is there a lot of stuff to do there? What are the pros/cons.
Any info would be helpful since i've never been there, except for the one day for my interview.

Charlotte FTW! Charlotte is a growing city. There's just things enough to do here. If you want a successful career and a good school system than Charlotte is the place to be. Charlotte = financial capital of the US.

Out of the other choices you listed...I would suggest Charlotte by far. There is a little more to do in Knoxville...but the city is just plain ugly. My sister lives there and I have been plenty of times and I much prefer Charlotte.

Charlotte, as mentioned before, is growing extremely rapidly. The light rail transit system just opened and the night life is started to grow as well. There has been talk of a 60+ story Trump tower being built downtown and ground has already been broken for 2 50 story condo building.

Personally...if I have a say in the matter, I would love to spend the rest of my life here. Not to mention Charlotte and the surrounding areas are saturated with a bunch of bad *** shops

Hope that helps.

Are you Asian? We have some but not many. They're all spread out around here. Charlotte, Greensboro, Rock Hill, and Columbia. But the white girls up here are cream of the crops.

CLT ftw!! Visit there as often as I can and always come back home smiling like a fat cat!!! Expensive city to live in but nightlife is good, downtown is pretty clean and like stated above...tons of sick shops. Condo downtown will run ya some cash, however. Buddy of mine bought a downtown place that was I think about 1300sq ft MAX, and I want to say it was around $450K. This was a couple years back tho.

G/L....expect to see ya at some NC meets before long!

I love Charlotte. It's right between the beach and the mountains. Love the area and it's perfect for what I am studying. I go to UNC Charlotte and I am studying business. Good choice on deciding to move here!

Sweet sounds good! I'm not sure if i'm going to try to find just a room for rent like on craigslist or get an apt with one of the other guys i work with. It just depends on how expensive apt's are that aren't in the ghetto.
And i'll def have to check out some meets!

I dig the asian chicks too. We have a good population of them here in Charlotte. There is a decent nightlife scene and it's only getting better.

Night life is growing. If you're into clubs than there aren't many. There used to be a lot out here but since then most have converted in bars. Lots and lots of bars that are always packed.
Living in the ghetto would cost you about $600 month. On the upper side it might cost you around $1k a month.

So where exactly is the "ghetto"? Or what places should i stay away from?
I flew in there the other day and was going to rent a car and check out the area but all the rental car places were either sold out or wanted $100 a day!!!

Yeah i'm not too big into clubs. I prefer bars myself. But..i seem to find it a lot easier to pick up women in clubs though...

Did anybody go to the St Patrick's Day bar crawl on Saturday? I had a blast and there were waaaaaaaaaaay more women there than I would have guessed. Just based on past experiences stuff like that is always a sausage fest but not this time.

GHetto. I would say anything below exit 16 on I-77 is a bad area. Well not bad, but thats is basically the cut off line where the white trash live where most of the scumbags roam and rob people and so on. I live at exit 25 on I-77 in huntersville and this place is beautifull, and very affordable.
