Question Atlanta Area: Shop That Can Weld

i have a set of 20 in iforged swifts that are 2 pc.

theres a small spot where iforged welded the wheel together that is slowing leaking air.

wanted to see if anyone knew of a shop in the atlanta that can reweld this spot for me.

i could resend it back to iforged but theres no telling when i will get the wheel back. shady customer service.

thanks for any help!

I can't see why even the smallest hole in the weld would allow an air leak? That to me would seem to have a hole all the way threw the wheel itself. Welds shouldn't be stopping air from leaking out of the wheel.

Take it to Forged Performance. You can click on my link below to find there number. I say that for more than one reason. Not only do they weld, but obviously they work well with all aspects of cars. I'd hate to send you to a good basic welder, but doesn't have much knowledge on proper wheel welding that Sharif might know about or heard of before.

Give us a call. We have in house tig welding, which is the only thing I would use to repair a wheel. But I'd like to see what iForged did first.

Where exactly is this leak/hole?

vvizage and sharif -

thanks for the help. im glad to have a shop like yourself here in atl.

the leak itself is inside the wheel where iforged welded both pieces of the wheel together. its about an inch section with tiny pits where the air is leaking through.

took the wheel to butler to do the water test. you can see tiny air bubbles coming from where its leaking where they welded the barrels together.

ill get the wheel over to you guys to have a look. also do you sell 3 or 5mm wheel spacers?

daprodigy - haaa wats up man. i got the volks prolly about a few weeks back. crazy offset +12. had to roll the fenders. i had the iforged and work meisters before.

now i want some volk gts. hit me up on my celly homie. we can kick it when im back in town.
