If you haven't done so already it's time to start making plans to attend the 2008 Z Nationals. March 28th-30th. Pre-register now for the Track Day and Dyno Competition as space is limited for both events. We are considering adding a new element to the track day this year by adding a TIME ATTACK Competition at the end of the day.

No worries we're still going have plenty of time for everyone to get on the track and test out their skills but to add a little extra something to the day's events we are looking to turn loose a few of the faster cars to compete against the clock, and each other, for prizes.

Track day registration is $150 and Dyno Competition registration is $50. You can sign up for either (or both) at www.znationals.com

Even if you don't want to compete and just want to participate in the car show and other events we ask that you pre-register so that we can begin to get an idea of how many people will be here and how many cars we need to plan for.

In past years this event has been 300ZX heavy and I'm asking all of you to help us out this year and represent the 350Z and G35 community with a strong showing.

It's going to be a great opportunity to meet other enthusiasts, look at each others cars, and take advantage of product specials and promotions all weekend long from Z1 Motorsports and event sponsors.

We have confirmed that Saturday night, after the Z Nationals Dyno Competition and Car Show, we will be hosting a dinner and awards presentation with live entertainment. This will take place at Time Out Sports Bar & Grille in Bremen, GA and is just down the road from the host hotel. Local band Red Tide Saga will provide live music with a DJ playing in between sets. Tentatively this is scheduled to begin at 7 PM on Saturday with the awards presentations and messages from Z Nationals representatives. The band is set to go on at 9 PM.

We're hoping this year's DVD is even better. We are looking to take the production levels up a notch and really put a great product to highlight the 2008 Z Nationals.

 

Downshift Magazine will be doing a feature photo shoot on the car show winner and using that car on the cover.

Modified Magazine will be covering the event.

Nissan Sport is scheduled to be here as well.

Camera crews will be on hand all weekend filming for the 2008 Z Nationals DVD.

Wouldn't it be great to see your car in one of those magazines later this year? Or to catch footage of yourself on the track at Talledega GP?

For anyone interested in attending all 3 days of Z Nationals admission on Sunday at Atlanta Dragway in conjunction with the Nopi Drag Racing Series event will be $25. That's $10 off regular gate admission.

 

I'm planning on attending...sounds like fun, just need to get a hotel for that weekend.

 

We have the info on the znationals site for the host hotel in Bremen which is a pretty central location to Talledega and to Z1. There are quite a few other hotels around Carrollton, Villa Rica, and Bremen, all of which are close by.
