I met up with some friends at the Dragon Saturday.
Here are the vids I shot. I tried to get all kinds of different angles with the cam on the car. Nothing too fancy, just a nice little cruise.

This one is a big file and might take a few to load.

Its called a sticky pod. www.stickypod.com
It works pretty well. The suction cups hold well enough that I can hold the mount, and lean away from the car and it will not come off.
I plan on doing more vids with it this summer.

This is the one I use. The OG.

There were a total of 4 cops. 1 hiding at the base of the dragon, then the others were at the first look out. It was a fairly clean run up there. Most people got out of the way.
I need to get a second knuckle for my pod so I can get better angles inside the car but the knuckle itself isn't cheap.

thats good news on the cops with Zdayz just around the corner. I am sure as summer begins they will be more cops.
i have the cruisecam mount that hooks to the headrest post, but I want something that mounts outside of the car. I like the looks of that one.

chasecam is a good brand. about a 100$ for a pod. Nice vids. should of turned off the mic on your camcorder. haha. sound of wind while watching it was kind of annoying. But nice all around. Good Driving. Watch those double lines gotta keep in them not over.
haha.

I meant to put music over them but I have not had time. I think I am going to make some sort of wind guard for the mic. I also have a nice mic I will put by the exhaust next time around.
I agree about the yellow lines. The video from those angles can really show how close you are to them or how far you over shoot them.
You would not believe some of the bikes up there. Their wheels were inside the lines, but their bodies were two feet in the other lane.

i know it would be terrible but could you imagine mounting that camera on say the left fender and watching the face shield of a knee dragger hit the camera head on, or maybe just miss it. be a cool shot as long as he JUST missed the camera.
