My Z is on its way, about 7 days untill i get it , and i got it over 2000 under msrp, and i live in new york!

 

Are you guys talking about 2004 models? If so, what trim are you guys buying with that kind of discount?

 

... The $500 over dealer cost came out to be a little over $3k in savings for my track. This was a 2003 model that I took delivery in April.

Yeah, $1K over invoice isn't a fantastic deal...

 

This thread makes me want to throw up my internals all over the place. When 70% of the folks on this board bought their Z's (including me)....we paid between MSRP and WELL over MSRP. The fact that they are so cheap now sickens me.

 

But early adopters always pay a premium, dosen't matter if your buying Plasma screen TV's or a car. If you want the latest and greatest first you will pay a premium.....

Yeah, I paid a bunch more than I should have for my R1, but then again, I rode the first one out of a shop here in SoCal, and decided I'd rather pay then wait a few more months.


That's the price you pay to be the first on the block. Now, silver R1s are a dime a dozen (but I still love my baby )
