My wastegate actuator wasn't working properly because the bracket broke, so it didn't hold any boost. So here I was.. driving down the road... with a fully built car... and no whooooooshhhh. It was the most horrible, horrible, feeling in the world. I wanted to crawl in a hole and die from boost withdrawl. Two ENTIRE weeks went by before I could get it fixed. I swear.. if I had to wait any longer to get it done, I would've had to be committed with white padded rooms without any sharp objects! lol

 

Trust me, she knows about my obssesion with P5's, lol

Honestly, when I first went for a test drive, I had to change my cotton undies when I got home. It was just that...umm... exhilarating. Like that Cadillac commercial.... "when you turn the car on; does it return the favor?" lol

Plus a nice selling feature was the fact that I could see over the dash since I'm only 5'4". Really, no phone books required!? Sold!!!

I'm putting down 283whp and 296 ft lbs of torque right now at about 15psi. It's 8:5 to 1.

I'm thinking that by next year, I'll sell off my turbo kit and get a bigger one though. The T3/4 makes more power than the GT28RS obviously, but has more lag since its bigger than the smaller turbo, which boosts quicker. My problem with that is also since it spools quicker, it tends to give me more tire spin than I'd like and not enough top end. So both have their benefits and drawbacks. But if I want more hp, I'll have to go with the T3/4 set-up.
