Speeding Ticket In Georgia
So I was coming home last night from school and stopped @ a redlight.I took my eyes off the road for a second to change my cd track when the light turned green I saw it kinda late so I gave it a little gas which made my tires spin a bit,I got up to about 55,60 mph when I notice a cop car behind me tailing the **** outta me,I begin to slow down and pull over at which point he pulls me over and starts threatning to arrest me,he writes me two tickets one for improper start and another for speeding..fuqn 75 in a 45 I wasn't doing anythng close to 75 and he begins to say I was doing way more than 75 but writes down 75 ( no rader,no lasar nothng).I stay very calm and polite to him but he jus acts like a fool saying how he should arrest me because I am under 21...I have a court date set for november 10th...any advice? thanks.
yea he gave me one even though he didnt laser me or radar.

go and talk to the judge and bring proof that you dont usually do this kind of thing and explain to the judge what happened. The way he "knew your speed" is he was tailing you and looked at his speedo to check your speed doesnt mean he wasent accelerating to catch up.
Yeah he was probably accelerating to catch u[p and used his top speed go to court and tell them you weren't speeding and since he didn't laser or radar you there is no proof that you were.

It's called "pacing" and is an acceptable way to measure a vehicles speed. He doesn't need a radar etc. Sounds like a giant *****. I would have said. "take me to jail bubba". I've done that before and the officer changed is tone with me really quick. He needed to calm me down real fast.
Go to court and plead not guilty.
Challenge the officer's method of checking your speed by asking questions like "when was your speedometer last calibrated?" He has to have documentation with him in court with that information.
Do your research. You are innocent until proven guilty.
