***Moving to Jacksonville - Apartment recommendations***
Depends on what you are looking for Live entertainment. Sure there are several strip clubs in and around the area. Or Lynchs and Fin McCools,on 3rd street down by the beach, have a cover band every Friday and Saturday night, there are also several other clubs within walking distance of each other. Lynchs and Fins both get pretty packed. Food wise depends on what you are looking for... Site seeing.. St Augustine is a 30 min drive south on 95.
Thanks for the info Trouble. I like to visit nudie clubs at every city I visit. Call me a researcher of sorts. We have tons of good strip clubs here in Los Angeles and I always want to see if they match up to ours. I look for clubs that have friendly, "giving" girls that are not 10's. I like them average as they all seem to be the coolest to hang out. So if you point me in the right direction that would be great!
I love all sorts of food, but Korean BBQ, Sushi, and steaks are my fav.

strip clubs here are eh. visit gold club near atlantic and st johns if anything. theres the beach area and downtown really for "nightlife". southside blvd also has some restaurants with live music and night stuff. sonics on saturday on beach/st johns is the local car hangout. downtown has some clubs and the landing is a regular jax hangout. beach has plenty of bars close to each other with free covers. anheuser brewery on the north side near the zoo as well.
hndumafia....did you get settled yet? I am going to Jax next month to train at Fidelity's for the Merchant Service Program and wanted to know if the city had anything fun to offer. First off, does the city have live entertainment.
Any good food joints I should visit and any must see landmarks?
Any good food joints I should visit and any must see landmarks?W0ady pretty much covered everything I know, since I usually go out with him. Never went to any strip clubs here, since I was told they don't come close to competing with Miami (where I'm from). Typical food joints up here are wings/chicken and beer, but there are other nice restaurants as well. What kind of food are you looking for? As far as landmarks go, I have no idea. St. Augustine is probably worth checking out if you have some time. Daytona is not too far either.
