Default Event:Clemson Sports Car Club's first Autox in over 2 yrs 11/9/2008

Clemson Sports Car Club will be having its first Autox in over 2 years.

Background:
We were kicked off campus for several weightless reasons. We were allowed back on campus after the Parking Services Manager added some safety precautions to the lot. He decided to split the lot into 4ths with speed bumps that stretch the entire lot. Guess which lots got those worthless speed bumps? The only lots we Autox'ed in, imagine that. Sadly, were not back on campus and have had to go elsewhere.

Event:

see http://clemsonscc.com/staticpages/in...rExpoAutocross

Anderson Fair & Expo Autocross
Clemson Sports Car Club Autocross at Anderson Fair and Expo Center Nov. 9th
We will be holding our first Autocross in 2 years. We're very excited to hold a great event and hope to see many faces from autocrosses of old and hopefully some new as well.

Event Information

General Autocross Schedule

* 7:45am Setup
* 8:30am - 9:30 Registration/Check In
* 9:30am - 9:45 Late Registration ($10 Late Fee)
* 8:45 - 10:00 Tech Inspection
* 10:00-10:15 Drivers Meeting/Drive Through *Mandatory*
* 10:30 First Car Out

Note: Events include 4-5 runs per person, per day. We are committed to providing our events with more runs than an average autocross, but we reserve the right to adjust the number of runs in the day based on attendance.

If time permits we offer Fun-Runs for our event participants after all runs are complete,. Many people enjoy the fun-runs because they allow a few additional runs and let drivers see what "the other guy's car" can do. Fun-Runs are $2 per run.

I will try to get them to come out. They are pretty busy these days. They are doing big things for the upstate. Doing everything they can to get a respectable shop running and nice import scene here in the upstate. You should check out our local forums that they have started. A few of the guys on there are from the Clemson area.

Hope to see you on ethe site!

James and I can't make it. I'm busy all weekend and James is in Vegas, but we're sending Adam out in the Drift car (not really sure why), I can't wait to see the videos. The car is really set up to slide. Adam is a great driver, but I'm not sure how well it will go on an autocross course. Bring your bandaids for the cones.
