Hey guys I am looking for a good installer in the Charlotte area who can install a avic d3 and an 2way remote start with alarm system and not say it costs 1,000 to do it. I have spoken to a few people and wow they are nuts. So I figured I should have come here first so you guys can give me the real scoop. I have the equiptment just need an installer. So can someone point me in a good direction? So anyone wants to help??

Ya saw them in on google today they were closed, ill try them tommorrow. As far as the avic Bestbuy is doing it for 120 plus I have a 4year warranty so may as well venture there if they dont get it right they will be doing it over and over for 4years lol. But as far as my alarm its a Clifford Matrix 3.5 so I was going to have to find someone there at freemans or elsewhere. Bestbuy charges 250bucks for an alarm like that. Is that the going rate?

 

not sure, i got mine done at freemans! Just make sure you ask whom ever is doing your install has experisnce and not some joe shmo who got a job there. i had to bring mine back b/c screws were missing in my door jam, it was just PUT on. Dissapointed, my Fiancee know the manager at the one we went to, so he hooked us up. not sure he works there anymore, 3 years ago.
As for the Starting rate. Not sure! I just pay the $ to get it done. (though i do search around first for the cheapest) if they all seem the same i do the one that looks more repitable. ya know?

Maybe you can make it to our next meet/bbq in april. Look out for the Thread next month. i like to put them up early so it gives people time to save that date.

Hey I just logged back on here and saw the updated post, wish I had logged in earlier. I have the work done now but I have one question. So they did the bypass so my vehicle can drive and the video can play simultaneously. The warning msg comes up on my avic yet I just hit ok and it works with no issue. Problem is after a few days of this now it gives me another warning and now I can see no video and I see different warning about video not being able to be viewed in the front of the vehicle. So what happened that I can nolonger view thevideo now??
