Morris, I saw your 1:23.5

Very nice.
Thanks Marty....It was a great time. I did the lapping day on Friday and the DE on the weekend. 425 track miles!

I met the guy in the Ford Spec Racer, but don't remember his name.

We missed you. A couple of us are talking about going back in the fall.

Jefro was even in town and didn't make it to the track. Kenny and Angie has folks over, so they couldn't make it either.

Thanks for coming - it was a great weekend. We had a Nissan paddock on one side - a Honda one, a Mazda RX8 - but we also had plenty of Porsches, BMWs, Miatas, Lotuses, Mustangs, a Corvair (yep 85HP) and others - a lone VW, a lone Audi, etc.

There are plenty of write ups and pictures on our forum. Don't want to plug it here - but some of you that are interested know the way.

Again, for those that attended - thank you so much. I hope I didn't tease Vernon too much. Our instructors truly missed their last session on Saturday, but for the most part were fine. It was Colin who thought of towing Vernon's car out from the rear, and having it U-turn onto the grass. It was Gordon who had the extra 25 foot tow strap to make it possible. And we were lucky the track allowed it -- but I don't think they were looking forward to a flatbed showing up at 11:30 p.m.

I hope we'll see you all again - at the track - like November 6-8. (I know, shameless plug there....) clubregistration.net is open to those of you who want to save a spot and number - payment isn't expected until the summer sometime. One change - no BBQ this time - we are looking into "Italian Night."

Night now - and sorry if you didn't make it - you missed out on what we are calling our best yet (knock wood here).
