well i got accepted into clemsons bridge program so it looks like im going to be coming up there for the fall semester. I was just wondering hows the car scene up there??

 

Columbia is where it's at.

 

Its not too bad. Several cool 350z owners and other nice guys. We do tuesday meet and eats and its a pretty chill group.

Anyway, Chris and I go to Clemson and the car scene is decent.

 

From what i know the bridge program gets you to live in a set complex and you go to tricounty for a few years. You have a clemson ID and number. You then transfer when the time is right. It really is the best plan IMO.....no need to waste $$$ on clemson tuition when you dont have too.

BTW, where are you in SC right now?

Word of advice.......stay off clemsonscc.com........waste of time as far as im concerned. Theyll hate on you just for owning a 350z.

 

I wouldn't trade the friends and experiences of my freshman and sophomore years for the difference in money, but of course that is a matter of opinion. FWIW, I also feel like the bridge students get a few too many privileges at CU (Library, gym, and tickets to games).

As far as ClemsonSCC.com goes, its good for a few laughs, but other than that its ok, but you should still at least check it out.

 

I was just up at Clemson visiting my girl and I noticed a lot of cars sporting stickers that said ClemsonSCC. Might want to check that out, I'm sure they have a website or something.

 

i got accepted to tri-county tech. they said i go there for a year and then transfer in. i wasent smart enoughf to go straight into clemson.lol. but i was jsut wondering whats going on up there.

i sold one of yall my exhaust. he said he was at clemosn. dont remember who though. it was a black 06.

but i live in lexington right now. about a 20 minute drive to columbia.

they just do. They hate on you because you have a nice car. Plain and simple.

If you have time on the 28th were doing a poker run and theres a meet at a shop in spartanburg. Youll get to meet the real sport car owners in clemson and not the civic/miata guys.

They only like us to use our cars to show off in parades and displays....other then that they hate us.

i just found this thread and the dates arent showing up so i dont know how old this thread actually is. i just got an 06 Z touring and i am a sophomore at clemson. all ive done is tint on my windows, rear blinkers, rear brake lights, and front reflectors along with 18'' ruff racing r280s. im looking to get either a K&N typhoon CAI or just a JTW pop charger. i was jw if those meets are open to new guys etc.
