So it was time for new shoes and change of look...
the new look is based on the fact that the car is blue with carbon fiber and also black top...
The wheels are polished and black with a really nice lip in the rear which give a nice aggressive look..
The wheels are VOSSEN VVS082
20x10.5 rear...
20x9 front...
Tires are NITTO NT555 and all I can say is that they fill the gap very nicely without any rubbing issues thanks to the nice offset on the wheels...
Since the wheels have the gloss black I decided to stop being lazy and do the one thing I have done to most of my cars... paint the inner fenders in gloss black...
By doing so it makes the car look way cleaner and make the wheels stand out more... Calipers were also painted in gloss black...
Here are some pics of the before / during / after of the painting and some pics of the wheels...

I've been really happy with my NT555 19's for over a year now - performance is good (for an amateur) and tread on the rears is lasting longer than the old RE050's and g-force.
Painting the fenders seems like a cool idea - I'm interested to see how that works out and how you like 20's.

It is really cool because when you wash the car all you need to do is spray a bit of water and it looks like you used a ton of Armor All to make them look clean... It only takes a couple of hours and is dirt cheap to do...

Anybody can do it....

Looks great! What did you paint the fender wells with? Mine need painting since I apparently ran over some paint in the road a while back... it's spattered in one or two of the wheel wells

The process is very simple... take the wheel off, clean the area, wait until completely dry ( i use my garage fan on one side while I clean the other) then simply paint with a nice brush... wait until is completely dry. I usually leave it until the next day and that is it... inner fenders are painted.
The calipers require a different paint that is heat resistant... the calipers are cleaned, then spray the heat resistant paint, wait until is completely dry and I use rust-oleum on top to give it the gloss black look.
So far it has never peel off on me...
and never had any issues. You can always just use the spray for the calipers and not use the rust-oleum but is not going to be as shiny unless you use heat resistant gloss clear coat...and you are done !!
