Default last minute official invite to all

i first must start off by saying sorry for the last minute post , i was just told about this forum and i wanted to at least put it out there
many g35 nissan guys in the ft lauderdale area know me by my car and crew




we are a huge group of boosted sc and boosted is300

we are having alittle road trip this weekend may 16/17 . we are having the meet and greet down at a resort in islamorada key ( just outside key largo, distance from ft lauderdale is like driving to Moroso race track in west palm,)

we have the bimmer forums guys also joining us as well as a few nissan guys

i have arranged a group rate of 129 for the night , holiday isles is a resort on the beach with everything you need onsite , the pic above is just for 1 of the tiki bars

That sounds cool. Maybe some of us might be able to make it. I'll talk to the guys from our group meet on Saturdays, which you are welome to join along with you friends. Check us out in the Pembroke Pines thread. Also I think I saw your car the other day on Douglas and Taft going south. Was that you? You left the light pretty quick and I hear your BOV. I was in my wifes Blue Mercedes at the time.

heh , i hope you guys could make it out , afterall we build our cars to enjoy the road , and road trips beat sitting around a parking lot any day ..

i will check you guys out tonight over at the starbucks for we from clublexus meet there in every few days during the weeknights as well

thanks the car right now does a tad over 500rwhp soon tobe closer to 600

some of the guys going on the caravan will be the big power guys

another na-t like mine at over 600 rwhp 2 others with gte motors one at 608 one at 775 just to name a few

so you know some hwy pull action going on , would love to see some boosted g's and boosted 350z's make this run with us

I don't think we're going to have much of a turnout tonight at our meet due to mothers day weekend. Next week should be pretty good though.

Being that your a 2jz guy, What is the difference between the 2jz in a lexus and the 2jz-gte in a supra besides the turbo?

well next week is when we are heading to the upper keys

the diff between the ge motor ( na) and gte motor (turbo motor) is the pistons on the gte are 8:5:1 low compression and ge is a 10:5:1 ( use 2 or 2.5mm headgasket to lower compressionto gte standards)... the cranks are the same , rods the same

ge using a distrubuter, gte uses coil on plug

gte block has oil squirters to help with cooling of the pistons , outside of that they handle same power

That's right, I forgot its the 16-17th. I was just checking out you forum and was reading up on the gte swap. I know that some Z's have been swaping over to the 2jz-gte. There is a company who makes a swap kit for our cars, and it is very tempting.
