Default July 19th Autox at BCC Palm Bay, FL

Anyone gonna join me at the Brevard Community College Autox on July 19th? It would be cool if I wasn't the only 350z out and I never see any others at the BCC events.

Here is the link to the flyer to the event

Event is held at the BCC skidpad and here is the Google maps link.

Can't make this one, but autoX is something I've been meaning to try for a couple of years now.

Maybe you could keep posting up the opportunities and I'll finally drag my butt out there one time ...

I was on that side of town and stopped by. Were you driving the blue Z? It was the fastest car out there. It entered the turns- fast, maintained speed, barely tilted (can't think of the right word) and came out fast. The engine looked stock, the exhaust sounded stock, the brakes looked stock, so I thought there had to be some kind of coilover set-up with wide wheels and some undercarriage bracing. There were modded Evos, a couple of vettes, 2 kit cars, and the Z was getting the best time.
This car inspired me to not only get lowering springs, but adjustable shocks, some lightweight wheels with wide tires, and some HPS brake pads. It was a sweet set-up as evidenced on the course and the driver skills maybe helped.

I didn't have time to go into detail before, but now I can get into some of this.

First, thanks for the kind words, however my Z wasn't the fastest car there. I am pretty sure one of the open-wheel "kit cars" in the A-Mod class put down a better time than me and I know the "wrapped" Z06 on race tires beat me.

Don't get me wrong, I was very happy with my times, but I'm no magician.

About the mods..

If you have a lot of seat time with your Z and are looking for ways to tweak it a bit for better times, I think my mods (listed in my sig) have been very helpful and cost effective. (Ok, so the Quaife cost an arm and a leg...)

However, if you are not familiar with the way you and your Z work together at the limit, "seat time" will make you much faster than all my mods put together.
