Default Looking for good cage welder in the Carolinas

I'm in Greenville/Spartanburg, SC and I'm looking for a good welder that has experience welding cages into cars and that is going to do it right. I'm also not a rich man, so they need to be reasonable.

Just purchased BamBam's old 8pt cage for my Roadster and I'm going to try my best to wrap up all details of the purchase, shipping, and installation in time to have it in the vert for ZDayz this year.

If anyone has someone that they would recommend, please let me know. I'm reaching out to local contacts that I know who drag race, etc. to get some recommendations as well.

Thanks in advance!

Congrats, I'm happy to hear it found a good home!!!!
As far as I recall, Sharif was heavily involved in that project. He may be able to give you some advice on where to go for help with installation.
Hope it works out well for you.

I may reach out to him if I run into anything. I'm buying it from Kevin (Specialized5223) & I've PM'ed Brent on here to ask him about any advice he'd give me on the cage's personality/quirks.

Cux350Z is right down the road from me, and he was able to put me in contact with someone local for the welding, so I'm hoping that will go smoothly once it's in my hands and I can mock everything up in the car.

I make it to ATL once in a while & right after I got the Z, I went by Forged and met everyone there. They were all very nice and very professional. Once I get the car to the engine building stage, it's going to be hard chosing between Forged, Z1, and CIN. I'm lucky to live reasonablly close to 3 Z shops with great reputations.

For the smaller stuff, it's a lot easier/convenient to handle it myself or locally. Mainly to maximize the time I'm driving/enjoying it and minimize the time I'm not.
