Default Calling all SC 350z owners!!! (PZC meet)

Most people don't know that SC has its own z car club now! It is only about a month or two old. We are having a meet on the 28th of this month (next weekend). As of now the club is primarly made up of 300zx z32 owners. The club is open to any and all z cars. This is why I am posting on my350z.com. So, I am inviting anyone who is whilling to make the drive to columbia! If you are going to come please bring $15 for club dues. With this you will get a t-shirt, stickers, and more! We are in need of this $15 because we are going to have stickers, t-shirts, and a website made! More info follows: (which I pieced together from an email haha)

Our next meet is going to be on the 28th of May. We will be voting on t-shirt and logo designs. We will also be handing out our club's "by laws" I believe.
It will start at 4:00 pm and end when everyone is tired. haha

Where to meet:

Big Lots Parking Lot.
3230 Augusta Road
West Columbia, SC 29170

Directions: Off of I-26, Take Exit 111A, (Highway #1 South) 1 mile on Right

Off of I-20, Take Exit 58, (Hwy #1 North), 4 miles on Left

Then after we talk and hangout for a little, we will be taking a drive through downtown Columbia, then Lake Murray dam. Then we will probably take some pics and stuff, then head to Carolina Ale House for dinner.

Carolina Ale House
277 Columbiana Drive
Columbia, SC 29212

The Cruise will take about 45 minutes and is shorter than the original plan. This will be a new route and always up for more improvement in future meets.

We will be having a vote on Palmetto Z Logo at this meet at well. Once the vote is done and everyone is happy, we will work on getting decals and T-shirts ready for our June Meet!!

Club Dues: We talked about this at the last meet. In order to get this going we will start collecting club dues at THIS MONTHS meet!! A decal (color of your choice) and a Club T-shirt will be included in the price of the club dues. $15.00 was the agreed upon fee at the last meet. I have access to a friend that does decals and the shirts, so this should not be an issue. I will also have extra shirts that I can get, just let me know at the meet,, and I can get you extras if you want a few for others. (An Extra charge for additional shirt of course)

Ok, Now the hard part!! I need each of you to either email, or post on this forum, or BOTH, if you are planning on attending or NOT. A YES or NO is important because it help us make sure everyone's email address is working and up to date!! ( I know I don't have most of your emails. Like I said I pieced this together from an email)

Also just to let everyone know, we will be working on a webpage for the PZC!! I have already registered the name PALMETTOZCLUB.COM ,, But currently looking for hosting that will work with our beginning budget (this is why we need to start collecting the club dues) Please bring some $$ with you on Saturday so we can get everything rolling!!

I hope to see everyone there!!

If you have any questions, email me at, cole_93_300zx@yahoo.com. It would also be really cool if you would email me if you plan on attending. That way I could have your email for future club meet info.

Thanks,
Cole

PS-I am sorry if I posted this in the wrong section. I'm new to this website and I don't really know how to navigate it yet

No problem. Just let me know.

I manage a ton of servers/systems in several datacenters and about 250 different branch office locations, so bandwidth and storage doesn't cost me anything to host some extra websites. I'm not talking about hosting it on a computer at my house. Just make sure that whatever you do that it's going to be reliable if you're going to run a forum as part of the site. There's nothing like a few days of unreliability to kill a forum and send people somewhere else as a result of their frustrations. I'd suggest you check out Z Club of Florida's site and their forums.

Good luck with the new group. There is already an established Upstate Z Club in Greenville that helps sponsor and volunteer at events like ZDayz, ZNationals, ZCon, etc. Since they're in your back yard, you may want to check with them on organizing some joint meets while you're trying to grow your new club.

Wow someone needs to breath some life into that site... It looks like strong bad did it in his spare time 10 years ago.

I know of at least 1 or 2 other people in g Vegas that own a z. One guy has a 2008 nismo. Just don't know if he's got time to mess around with it.

I met them all at ZDayz this year. I'm joining and plan to offer my services to update the website for them. I'm also joining a few other clubs as well, so I'll keep an eye on this new one in Columbia as well.

Hahaha... My best buddy moved to Houston this past year, so I lost out on my "house to crash at when stuff hits the fan", so your comment stuck with me. But, yeah... we need to run into each other at a meet sometime. At least I know that we have a few things in common based on your post.
