Weather folks here in Raleigh, NC saying this could get very bad! Ocracoke Island is already calling for an evacuation and the crazies are already coming out and hitting the stores like its the end of the world. I think ill just stay on my 3rd floor and wait for the flood! Hurricane party at my house!

Looks like we may get some rain here in Wilmington too. Can't do much more than wait, but I'm going to go turn over the generator just in case.

They are talking about evacuating the Atlantic Beach area as well suggesting people stay off Hwy. 70, if possible, for better traffic flow. I really hope it dies down to a category 2 or less by the time it gets here.

 

They put Greensboro in the red zone. I hate watching the news during a hurricane.

 

Yea sh*tz about to get real here in the next few days. Anyone on the coast that are actually staying be safe!

Mandatory evac here in Norfolk/Virginia Beach for low lying areas, out by 8am Saturday. Shelters are suppose to be open by Friday 7pm.

 

Any word from anyone on the coast that's waiting the storm out on the coast?
