Hey everybody. Im organizing a group mountain run up to Dahlonega and Blood Mountain up in the north GA mountains. If you have never been there before, you are missing out on a great experience! The roads are incredible to say the least, and the small town of Dahlonega is interesting and fun.

-0the meet up point is yet to be determ ined but i will update this post as soon as that point is determined.

The plan will be to meet up at 8:30 A.M and to be on the road and driving by 9 A.M. remember that the more cars attending, the more fun we will have. Ive done this drive before and its incredible!

this will be the official roster. so go ahead, check your schedule, request off from work, whatever it takes! join in!

update: as it sits right now, the plan will be to meet at the WalMart that morning, which is located just outside of Dahlonega. From there, we can leave the parking lot and start going right up the mountain.

good. im glad to see interest stirring up. ill update the attending list. if i am incorrect on adding you to the list then PM me and make sure i know. im trying to keep an accurate account of who is attending. this is looking up to be a good event! and im deffinitely down to eat out if you guys are wanting that. i figure if we eat out for lunch then im deff gonna eat in dahlonega for dinner.

the meeting location is walmart just outside of dahlonega. it sits at the bottom of the road that would be taken up into the mountains. but if you guys know a better location then i can always adjust.

I will be attending. What are the plans for lunch? I read lower that there was the idea for a pot luck style? Is this still the plan?

 

im not sure that it was ever determined. i know that ill be commuting from Rome so if i brought something for that kind of lunch, it would have to sit in the back of my car from 5am to lunch..... and remember that pot luck stuff will be slinging around your trunk while you drive all day.... bc we would have to bring everything.

otherwise, there are some really nice places to stop at inside dahlonega
