Anyone know any reputable shops that are good with z's?preferably someone who can tune e85. I've heard mixed responses about japtrix and cft. kinda don't want to have to drive to orlando.

Proceed with caution... I'm not going to **** on anyone but I didn't have a pleasant experience there. They did rectify the problem which is good and the car runs well but it wasn't a smooth transaction.

 

can you elaborate on that without bias? also can anyone make comment about japtrix?

 

the issue remains that there are no decent tuners in florida for vq based applications.
everyone is far more concerned about $$$ than a quality experience. i'd personally
rather drive to forged in ga.

 

ive heard of forged, but what makes you put them over the florida tuners?

S&R Performance in Tampa periodically flies Doug in from Topspeed.

S&R has its own questionable history, but from what I hear about Doug, he is a specialist with 350s and has a solid reputation. I have some friends who have taken advantage of him when he's in town and they're happy. You might want to call S&R and see when Doug will be in next. Just another option. GL.

Unfortunately, I agree with lgear. I have heard only good things (no personal experience) about the tuning at Forged...its just such a long drive for you.

They are called PROsTuning now but Ive also went there for years and havent had any problems. What i like about them is that they actually have shop cars that they race on the circuit at PBIA, not many other shops are doing that to my knowledge.
