Default Windshield Tint Law In Miami?

i have 20% all around and 50% in the front. I use to love how the sun didnt bother me but after my eyes got infected due to contacts the sun seems to bother me abit now. ( their not infected anymore ) maybe 35% in the front? i have a black 350z with some body work. i know cops always tend to look at me but im trying to not get pulled over. how many of you live in Miami and have 35% or darker and never have a problem with cops.

I went with 70% but I'm in TX. I've been pulled over once by a POS pig that had nothing better to do than to say my white LEDs on my rear license plate doesn't look white. He looked at my windshield for the registration sticker but didn't make any comments on my tint. It's got a cutout for the stickers so pretty easy to tell. I know I'm not in Miami, but 70% is a bit dark at night when rest of my car is 15%, but up to you if you want to do 35% up front lol. Just seems way too noticeable and will give poor visibility @ night.

I have 15% all around and 50% on the windshield, but I am also considering going to 35% on the windshield. Alot of my buddies have it on their cars and I think it looks awesome.

I'm in NY but I can probably say it's the same for everywhere, if it's illegal then it just depends on the cop.

You just have to expect a ticket and be glad when you don't.

Maybe get a prescription from the eye doctor for tints.

Buy sunglasses

It seems that 35% would be almost dangerous at night

how long have you lived in Miami?...you know cops dont give a damn down there..I lived there for over 24 years and all they worry about is when is red snapper season..LOL...do 35%, but you wont see nothing at night..it's your ride and your risk..

In Florida you're not allowed to have any tint on the windshield below the AS-1 line, but that tint can be as dark as you want. You can have 28% on the front sides, and 15% on the rear sides and back window. Whether or not anyone enforces these is another matter.
