The Emerald City Z Club of Greenville, NC is having our 4th annual Z Car Show on Saturday, June 5, 2004 10:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Kinston Nissan in Kinston, NC. Kinston Nissan is located on Highway 70 in Kinston. Highway 70 runs between Raleigh and Morehead City. The registration fee is $20 before May 15 and $25 thereafter. The registration fee includes a t-shirt, goodie bag and raffle ticket. We also have lots of giveaways. Awards and giveaways begin at 1:00 p.m.

I forgot to mention that proceeds from the Show benefit the North Carolina Dream Factory. If you are eastern North Carolina or surrounding areas come check the Show out. It is free to the public and only $20 (before May 15) or $25 (after May 15) to enter your car in the Show.

 

You are going to have the Diamond in the rough category for me and Stacy, Right??

 

Yes, there is a "diamond in the rough" category with awards for first, second and third place. You and Stacy will have to fight it out with Roger Williams who one first place in that category last year. Perhaps Stacy's car may also qualify for the most radical category.

 

The Emerald City Z Club meets on the second Tuesday of each month at Basil's Restaurant in Greenville (off Firetower Road). Our next meeting is Tuesday, May 11, 2004. The meeting starts at 7p.m.

 

Can you register the day of the show at the show location? Also, what time will the registered cars be able to arrive/set-up?

 

You can register the day of the show at the show location or you can preregister. The show offically starts at 10:00 a.m. but you can get there earlier if you like. I'll probably be there between 8:30 and 9:00. Let me know if you have additional questions. Hope to see you there.

The weather is supposed to be nice tomorrow. According to the weather report I saw this morning the low pressure system is supposed to get out of here overnight. Forecast Saturday is for partly cloudy skies with a high of around 82. Of course it may take longer to clear up in southeastern VA.
