I also run Mobil 1 in my '06 and have had no oil issues whatsoever, in 21,000 miles. I switched to synthetic at my second oil change.

Can anyone tell about SES codes 1278, 1279, 1288 and 1289? I checked several places and could not get any info.

P1278 Air/Fuel Ratio Sensor 1
P1279 Air/Fuel Ratio Sensor 1

My guess would be 88 and 89 would be Sensor 2. Actually the 1 and 2 should be for bank 1 and 2. So all 4 of your sensors threw a code.

 

Seems to be running fine......got them after some wot runs yesterday. Both my xd-16 and HKS knock amp meters are showing good a/f ratios. Should I be worried?

Nah, i really wouldn't be worried. You could get some non foulers to see if that makes them go away? Do you have a scan tool?

 

Yeah I cleared them with my scan tool. Most seem to be related to having the fcon.

Now I'm debating between the UTEC and then 100shot of Nitrous or a Honda CBR 600 cc bike!! A guy at my job is selling it and he took me for a ride!! iT WAS MY FIRST TIME RIDING A BIKE NOW IM ADDICTED!

chucky i'd seen your trunk in person..and i think it's sick..love it...but i meant you have more trunk space to begin with...not anymore...i was thinking to just do something like that where i eliminate the spare n sh*t like that...then i might still have some space on the front side of the strut...i would like to NOT use one of the sides....
n-e ways, i got other things I need to get done first..like FIX my cracked rear bumper.

 

If u exprienced a bike , ....u might wanna get the 100shot for ur Z as it may be the most hp for the money you would get . You can always get the Utec after and still tune. I was gonna get a 650rr but after riding in it i could see that i would probably end up in a tree.( i also dont have a taste of honda bikes, either suzu or yama would be my choice) If i were u i would go 100shot first. As for me i still got to complete this setup first before nitrous blesses my Z.

So you see i have alot of work to do. lol I can see you getting alot more satisfaction of seeing your Z over 300rwhp on nitrous then tuning to reach numbers below it feel me. Since you seem to have the speed bug . lol Anyways thats my path. NA. Anything close to the 300rwhp NA mark then hitting nitrous to be at the FI guys level is my goal. If you get the 100shot let me know i wanna see how ur mods everything will dyno.
